After graduating CU Boulder with a degree in Environmental Design emphasizing architecture, I turned my attention to creating in clay, drawn to the materials immediacy and malleability. For over 25 years now, I have been exploring ways of working with clay to make functional pieces and sculptural objects.
Inspired by art and makers, influenced by stories, myths, and the natural world, I work to express themes of home, community, and journeys – where are we now, and where are we going?
I exhibit throughout Colorado’s Front Range, including group shows with Boulder Potters’ Guild and the Arvada Center Art Market. I participate in Boulder’s annual Open Studios tour, and I am represented by the Boulder Arts and Crafts Gallery, and PISMO, Denver.
