 w intermediate level\nPrerequisite: No previous experience is required.\n
 \nThis evening class includes a basic introduction and a continuation of b
 uilding your wheel throwing and hand-building skills. The course covers cl
 ay studio basics and is intended as an introduction to the clay cycle proc
 ess of 'clay to fire.' Students learn the skill of centering and evenly di
 stributing clay to make cups\, bowls and plates\, as well as the applicati
 on of handles. Simple hand-building techniques are also introduced to give
  participants other options for creating pottery items. The course also in
 cludes instruction in glazing techniques. No previous experience is requir
 ed. This class is a good option for those with some previous experience to
  refresh their basic skills. Basic concepts such as how to use studio equi
 pment\, clay preparation\, simple wheel-throwing and hand-building techniq
 ues\, and decoration and glazing processes will be demonstrated.\n--------

 t be VACCINATED to enter the Guild. Students are encouraged to be vaccinat
 ed.\n- MASKS ARE REQUIRED for all individuals entering the Guild facility
