Nature and natural shapes are Bill's greatest influence. Hiking, camping and mountain drives give him unlimited ideas that he translates into ceramic pieces made from slabs of clay. Primarily self-taught, Bill has been making pottery for more than 20 years in Colorado after moving here from Michigan. With the encouragement and influence of fellow ceramic artists he is constantly innovating and exploring the many possibilities of clay.
