I began as a ceramics major in the early 2000s before stepping away from clay to explore other paths, returning to it in 2016. After growing up in rural Kansas and attending Kansas State University, I spent years moving - more than 30 times - living throughout the U.S. and Central America. Along the way, I trained in massage therapy at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy, graduating in 2012, and have maintained ties to the Boulder area ever since.

My work is shaped by time in the studio, a lot of trial and error, and a love for everyday objects that quietly elevate daily rituals. My process with clay is intuitive and a little imperfect by design. I’m drawn to texture, earth tones, bold color, and graphic contrast, often following curiosity more than a plan. Each piece carries a bit of that exploration.

I currently work at the University of Colorado Boulder, maintain a massage therapy practice, and make pots in the spaces in between. I live in Boulder with my partner Jacob, my stepdaughter Evie, our dog Louie, and cat Saoirse.
