I started making pots at the Boulder Pottery Lab in 1992 after having worked in human services for many years. I now periodically teach at the Boulder Potters’ Guild. I am also a docent at the Denver Art Museum which gives me the opportunity to study and teach many facets of art to a diverse group of people.
Clay is a contemplative discipline for me. It is rooted in my interests in psychology, music, Buddhism, communication, and art. I like to explore, shapes, forms, textures, symbolism, and colors.
