Born and raised in Ithaca, NY, I moved to Boulder in 1998. My work is informed by natural forms and textures, and processes of growth, decay, and metamorphosis — and also by the occasional happy accident. I create hand-built and thrown (often altered) pieces, and enjoy combining the two approaches and carving designs and textures into the finished forms.
