Member Since 2004
After a lifetime in all aspects of clay, Sanna is returning to digging wild clay, as she did on her family farm as a toddler, and building red clay planters. Exciting as that is, she also continues wheel-throwing vases in porcelain and applying glazes that bloom into beautiful crystals in firings. The rest of her studio time is spent hand-forming miniature farm animals, garden produce, and flowers in terra cotta and painting these with colorful slips.
