If you have never tried to make something out of clay OR if you have taken classes before but would like help making something you have never dared to make, this is your class! Cris Conklin and Lydia Pellow are teaching a Fundamentals class, in which you will learn or refine your skills in both throwing on the wheel and hand building pots. With many years of combined experience, these teachers will be ready to help you work on the pots you have always wanted to make.
Please bring to the first class any notebooks, sketchbooks, or photos of pottery that inspire you. The first class will begin with introductions and discussing your expectations for the class. After discussing students’ expectations, we will design a class with everyone in mind and will then send out a syllabus before our second class. There will be one cone 10 reduction firing after the last class.

PLEASE NOTE: All Guild members must be vaccinated to enter the Guild. Students are encouraged to be vaccinated.
MASKS ARE REQUIRED for all individuals entering the Guild facility during classes and practice sessions, regardless of vaccination status.
